From January to March 2023, the revenue collection target for the Maputo City Delegation of the Tax Authority was 45,883,398.13 Mil Mts and it collected 44,841,120.30 Mil Mts, corresponding to a realization of 97.73% and an increase of 14.64% compared to the same period last year, when it collected 39,116,308.99.

The information was made public on the morning of Tuesday 23/05/2023 by the spokesman for the 8th Ordinary Session of the Council of State Representation Services in Maputo City, Artur Dombo.

On the occasion, Artur Dombo stressed that the strict control of goods imported with tax benefits, as well as the strict control of defaulting taxpayers, withholdings from payments to non-residents and the correction of systematic credits had contributed positively to the process.

Also at the 8th Session, the Executive of the body gave attention to and debated the following points: Preparation for Maputo City's participation in the National Culture Festival; The operation of the Family Medicine Residency at the Polana Caniço General Hospital; Information on Alternate Training; Information on the Consumer Price Index for April and, finally, the State of Order, Tranquillity and Public Safety.
