The Assembly of the Republic (AR) today appreciates, in specialty, the Law proposal of the Economic and Social Plan and State Budget for 2022, which represents 450.6 billion Meticais.

The proposal foresees, for 2022, a Gross Domestic Product growth in the order of 2.9% versus 1.5% for the current year.

In addition to the consideration of the PES and OE, the parliament may also approve the proposed revision of Law No. 10/2017, of August 1, which approves the General Statute of Employees and Agents of the State (EGFAE), in addition to the draft revision of the Organic Law of the Constitutional Council.

It is also planned that the deputies of the benches will consider in specialty the proposed revision of Law No. 10/2017 of 18 January, Organic Law of the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Statute of Public Prosecutors.
