In-person classes remain suspended in all subsystems of education in the country, however, this Friday, the President of the Republic authorized the holding of in-person exams, starting Monday, with the observance of covid-19.
Speaking to the Nation, in the context of the Situation of Public Calamity, Filipe Nyusi maintained all measures previously decreed, by decree No. 50/2021 of July 16, to curb the spread of the new Coronavirus and suspended classes in all subsystems of education in the cities of Vilankulo, Maxixe and the town of Massinga.
The measures will be in effect for another 30 days. In the next 15 days you can make a communication evaluating the measures in force.
Nyusi says that results of the new measures are already visible, but the third wave is far from over. "The pandemic is not manifesting itself in the same way in all provinces. Tete has been showing a slowdown in cases, while Cabo Delgado has registered an increase in the number of cases," he highlighted.
