The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Maria dos Santos Lucas, is taking part in the fourth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, in the Republic of Turkey, representing the President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo.
At the three-day event, which begins on Friday (11), Maria dos Santos Lucas is due to give a speech during the Forum's round table session on the theme of "Africa's growing role in world politics".
The forum, held under the slogan: "Recovering diplomacy in a fragmented world", will be attended by heads of state, government representatives, parliamentarians, diplomats and opinion-makers from various countries.
The Antalya Diplomacy Forum is a Turkish initiative that aims to promote international dialogue with debates on global issues such as poverty, immigration, democracy, climate change, energy security, racism and the fight against discrimination.
The Mozambican leader is accompanied by the Mozambican ambassador to Turkey, Santos Álvaro, and the director for Europe and America at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, César Gouveia.
