The city of Maputo is hosting a business forum tomorrow, Friday (25), which will bring together Mozambican and Dubai businesspeople to discuss new investment opportunities as well as deepening bilateral trade.

The meeting, organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce as part of Dubai Chambers, seeks to help local companies explore new business prospects in sectors such as agriculture, construction and building materials, electronics, energy, petrochemicals, engineering, FMCG, food and beverages, information and communication technologies, manufacturing, shipping and maritime services, metals, real estate, retail, supply chain and logistics.

The initiative called "New Horizons" is part of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce's efforts to promote the global expansion of companies based in that country and enable them to capitalize on rewarding opportunities in new international markets, including Mozambique. The initiative is in line with the objectives of the "Dubai Global" initiative, which seeks to help local companies explore new business prospects in 30 priority markets around the world.
