The Minister of Health, Armindo Tiago, has warned of the dismissal of employees in the sector who engage in corruption schemes and indecent behavior with users, regardless of their position or status.

"We will throw you out! It doesn't matter if he is a nurse, if he is a servant, if he is a doctor, or a specialist doctor. He who attends badly to our people will not continue in the health sector, because he does not honor our motto," warned Tiago, this Friday in Nampula, as part of the inauguration of the two largest complaint number signs.

The Minister revealed that in recent years the Ministry has instituted more than 300 disciplinary proceedings of which some have ended with the expulsion of officials, due to corruption and poor attendance.

According to Tiago, the reporting numbers will be free of charge. "In the health unit no employee will be allowed to circulate without proper identification and photograph" for users to make the complaint "knowing" the public servant.

"All situations of bad service, including illicit charges, should be reported through the numbers," he said.
