Government wants to support economic agents affected by terrorist actions

The Government of Cabo Delgado Province is registering the economic agents and small traders, whose activity was affected by the terrorist actions, in the north of the province.

 Nocifo Magaia, director of Industry and Commerce, in Cabo Delgado province, said that due to the huge damage suffered by traders, the government is studying two forms of intervention.

"One, is about the economic agents that, are related to the large projects of supply to the food chain at the level of large projects in the Rovuma basin, the other is linked to groups of local economic agents, responsible for supplying the villages, stalls, stores and canteens," he explained. 

Nocifo Magaia said that the government has already surveyed around 3 thousand economic agents for intervention.
