It's a feature film that represented the streaming platform's biggest investment of 2023! So, after premiering on December 22, in less than 72 hours it jumped to the top of the list.

It's a work by Zack Snyder, the filmmaker responsible for iconic productions such as "300", "Man of Steel" and "Army of the Dead". This time, it's a science fiction epic. In addition to the one that has now premiered, a second production is guaranteed and is scheduled to premiere on April 19, 2024.

The feature films in question feature a luxury cast, including Sofia Boutella ("Kingsman: Secret Service"), Djimon Hounsou ("Gran Turismo"), Charlie Hunnam ("Sons of Anarchy"), Michiel Huisman ("Game of Thrones") and Anthony Hopkins ("The Father").

"Rebel Moon - Part One: The Girl of Fire" follows a peaceful community on a moon far from the universe that is threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius. The locals' only hope of survival is Kora, an enigmatic outsider who lives among the settlers.

Tasked with recruiting skilled warriors to join the resistance against oppressive rule, Kora brings together a small group of fighters, renegades, insurgents, peasants and war orphans from different worlds, united in their search for redemption and revenge. Thus, in the shadow of an empire hovering over an unlikely moon, the battle for the fate of the galaxy is unleashed, giving rise to a new army of heroes.
