UEM introduces master's course in Natural Disasters

UEM introduz curso de mestrado em Desastres Naturais

Eduardo Mondlane University will introduce a master's degree course in natural disasters this year.

The initiative comes from the project Co-creating local knowledge on climate change, COLOCAL, of which Eduardo Mondlane University is a part.

The information was shared this Monday in Maputo by the Coordinator of the COLOCAL Project in Mozambique, Luís Artur, during the annual meeting on climate change.

Luís Artur argued on Radio Mozambique that "we are all called upon to play a fundamental role in combating climate change".

Representatives from universities in Bangladesh, Nepal, Norway and Uganda are taking part in the annual meeting of the COLOCAL project, which runs from Monday to Thursday.
