SERNIC desmantela clínica clandestina no domicílio de funcionário do Estado

The National Criminal Investigation Service (SERNIC) has dismantled a clandestine clinic that operated in the home of an employee of Inhambane Provincial Hospital.

Various types of consultations, treatment of medical pathologies and hospitalization of patients were carried out there. The service agent used the facilities to access materials from the National Health System so that the clinic could operate at full speed.

The individual is being held to account by the authorities, who have seized various types of medicines and materials from the hospital.

He was arrested when the investigators posed as customers. After realizing that they were SERNIC agents, the accused tried to negotiate the evasion of the crime.

Police authorities say investigations are underway to capture other individuals involved in the case. (Source: RM)
