PR launches the national industrialization program today

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, launches today, in the district of Vanduzi, in Manica, the National Program "Industrialize Mozambique.

This is a presidential initiative framed within the implementation of the Government's Five-Year Program, "which aims to contribute to the increase of national industrial production, preferably making use of local raw materials, stimulating production, commercialization, as well as generating employment and income for young people and women," says the Presidency of the Republic, in a statement.

The event will also serve as a mechanism to publicize the opportunities of the Economic Partnership Agreements (EPA) between Mozambique and the Southern African Customs Union countries with the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

In parallel, it will reflect around the commercial transactions between Mozambique and the UK, through witnesses and experiences of the different players in the central zone of the country.
