A citizen is accused of poisoning his family, an act that resulted in the death of his three-year-old daughter and the hospitalization of four other people, in the district of Mocuba in Zambezia province.

On Wednesday, the child and the hospitalized people allegedly ate pork that had been poisoned by the father, reports News. The accused is on the run.

The people hospitalized are three sisters of the fatality and the mother, who is suffering from diarrhea and vomiting.

One of the children was transferred to Mocuba District Hospital and the others are still at the local health center.
