"Done deal": Messi will play at Al Hilal, they assure in France

«Negócio fechado»: Messi vai jogar no Al Hilal, garantem em França

Argentinian star Lionel Messi is leaving PSG to sign for Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia. "It's a done deal," reports France Presse on Tuesday, in a piece of news that already contains very detailed information. The agency speaks of a "contract of exceptional value" and a "relatively quick" negotiation, "shorter than the previous one between Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr".

The annual value of Lionel Messi's contract will be around 360 million euros and will be added to the already astronomical amount earned by the world champion as Saudi Arabia's tourist ambassador.

"Messi won't be coming just to play soccer, but to play an important role in the diplomacy of our kingdom," a source told AFP. Al Hilal are coached by Argentinian Ramón Díaz and have two Portuguese members of staff: Paulo Nunes and Nuno Romano. If AFP's conclusive information is confirmed, Leo Messi will once again be Cristiano Ronaldo's opponent in a national league - if the Portuguese remains in these parts. Lionel Messi, who turns 36 next month, is concluding his second season in Paris after his long association.
