Mozambique will work with the Namibian authorities to exchange experiences regarding legislation in the extractive industry sector, including the construction of infrastructures and access roads, agriculture and others..
This was stated by the Mozambican statesman, Daniel Chapo, at a press conference held last Friday (21) in the Namibian capital, Windhoek, where he took part in the inauguration of the President of Namibia, Ndemupelila Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, and in the celebrations for the 35th anniversary of Namibian independence.
Chapo also pointed to the exchange of experience in the construction of standardized housing, which includes hotels, condominiums and more effective ways of attracting private investment.
"Namibia has a lot of experience in building infrastructure, especially infrastructure related to access roads. Namibia also has experience in the construction of housing, and also in private investment, especially in the construction of hotels and condominiums," said the President of the Republic.

"So the main areas of focus in Mozambique are infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, mineral resources, industrialization too, Namibia has a lot of experience, we think that like Mozambique it has a lot to learn. But we also feel that they (Namibia) have a lot to learn from Mozambique," he said, reiterating that Mozambique needs an environment of peace and security to guarantee the development that the country is aiming for.
