Decree no. 10/2023, of March 31, which exempts nationals of 29 countries from the requirement to present an entry visa for the Republic of Mozambique, comes into force on Monday, May 1.
According to a statement released to MZNews, the exemption is aimed at citizens entering the country for tourism or business purposes, and the need to register 48 hours before boarding is temporarily suspended.
Citizens of the countries listed in the decree are authorized to travel to the Republic of Mozambique without prior registration. Upon entry, they must pay a fee equivalent to 650 meticais and present the following documents: a) Passport or equivalent document valid for no less than 6 months; b) Flight ticket for coming and returning, for those traveling by air; c) Proof of accommodation.
