Hidrocarbonetos: Eni interessada em mais áreas no país

The Italian oil company Eni is interested in obtaining more areas for prospection and research of hydrocarbons in Mozambique said Giorgio Vicini, general manager of Eni during an interview with "Notícias".

The source assured that there is interest from the multinational Eni in the sixth tender launched by the National Petroleum Institute (INP), in which the company qualified in the first phase.

He explained that the company is now doing technical evaluations to decide which areas it should bid for.

"We are interested in the sixth tender organized by INP. Eni qualified as an operator in the first phase of the tender and now we are doing technical evaluations to choose the areas for which we will bid," Giorgio Vicini told "Notícias", without, however, advancing the number of such areas.

It should be noted that Eni Rovuma Basin, is the operator of the Coral Sul FNLG project.
