After approving new amounts for various levels of civil servants last week, yesterday it was the turn of the Armed Defense Forces of Mozambique (FADM) and members of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM).

This Tuesday, the Council of Ministers approved the criteria for the framework, the regime and the amounts of the supplements and the amounts of the salary levels and scales for the FADM and PRM members, although the figures involved have not been revealed.

"The Decree revising Decree No. 53/2022, of October 14, which defines the criteria for the framework, the regime, the amounts of the supplements and the amounts of the supplements of the salary levels and ranks of the Defense and Security Forces; the Decree revising Decree No. 54/2022, of October 14, which defines the criteria for the framework, the regime and the amounts of the supplements of the ranks of the members of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique and other equivalent paramilitaries," explained the spokesman for the Council of Ministers, Inocêncio Impissa.

Regarding the approved figures, Inocêncio Impissa said that he could not announce them for organizational and strategic reasons.

Also at Tuesday's session, information on the balance of the 2022/2023 festive season, the Regulations for the Competition to Select a Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, the state of play of the 2022-2023 rainy and cyclonic season and the preparations for the celebration of February 3rd (Mozambican Heroes' Day) were also considered.
