BVM signs agreement with University of Coimbra

The Mozambique Stock Exchange (BVM) has signed an agreement with the University of Coimbra to strengthen the Mozambican institution with new instruments for action.

The document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of BVM, Salimo Valá, in Lisbon, Portugal, on the sidelines of the Business Forum between Mozambique and that European country.

Furthermore, as NewsThe memorandum provides for the training of BVM employees to improve their actions on the capital market and reinforces the corporate management model.

Furthermore, the agreement will create opportunities for BVM to access technological modernization mechanisms, in contact with the Portuguese and European reality, and to attract Portuguese and European investors to the Mozambican stock market.

As part of the Mozambique-Portugal Forum, other business cooperation agreements were signed between the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique-CTA and the Business Confederation of the CPLP and the Industrial Association of Portugal.
