Nacala Logistics carried more than 60 thousand passengers in the third quarter

Nacala Logistics transported, during the 3rd quarter of the current year, a total of 62,574 people on its passenger trains, 8,085 more compared to the previous quarter. This corresponds to an increase of around 14%, compared to the second quarter of 2021.

The company's official source says that the results were influenced by the slowdown of restrictive measures, the coronavirus, and the gradual recovery of economic activity in Mozambique, especially in the Nacala Corridor.

It should be noted that Nacala Logistics introduced electronic tickets for the passenger transport service. This measure is part of the project to modernize the passenger management system in order to ensure greater operational efficiency on its routes: Nampula - Cuamba; Cuamba - Lichinga; and Cuamba - Entre Lagos.

Nacala Logistics maintains its commitment to serve the communities along the corridor, ensuring low-cost and affordable transportation for the people.

It should be noted that Nacala Logistics is responsible for the management and operation of the rail-port system of more than 1600 km, doing the logistics of coal, general cargo and passenger transport.
