ISO 50001 is an official, globally recognized certification awarded to organizations that demonstrate world-class energy management, helping them to reduce consumption by developing a management system.

To qualify for and maintain certification, organizations need to implement energy management practices comprehensively, which includes setting energy performance targets at senior management level, implementing policies designed to help the organization achieve measurable objectives and promoting continuous improvement in terms of efficiency across all operations.
