Learn which technologies are essential to empower hybrid teams

Saiba quais são as tecnologias essenciais para capacitar equipas híbridas

The past year has significantly impacted work models and, consequently, the way people are empowered. As the world moves towards a post-pandemic scenario, nine out of ten organizations in the world will adopt a hybrid model, according to a study by consulting firm McKinsey, cited by the "Human Resources" portal.

However, keeping teams integrated and with equal opportunities for professional development are challenges that must be prioritized when doing a digital corporate education program.

For DOT Digital Group's training and development specialist, Sueli Andrade, there are five technologies that are key to empowering hybrid teams in the coming years. They are:

1. Gamification

Gamification can be effective in building employee engagement. A game can replace a quiz or a test and can be equally effective in assessing understanding.

2. Social Learning

Social learning is the sharing of information and knowledge through blog discussions, messaging, discussion forums, video chats, and other social networking applications.

Companies benefit when the informal content of employees contains useful ideas and solutions to problems not covered in formal curricula.

3. Experiential and immersive learning

Immersive and experiential training methods are successful because they engage all the senses and allow learners to assimilate new information quickly and retain it longer than when traditional methodologies are used.

Types of immersive learning include 360-degree photos and videos, 3D simulations, virtual and augmented reality, gamification, and educational games.

4. Microlearning

Microlearning is the delivery of learning content in the form of "pills" of information, in modules lasting no more than 10 minutes. It emerges as a suitable solution for professionals familiar with digital environments and who want short content.

5. Webinars, workshops and live training

The goal is to take advantage of the presence of collaborators and tutors in a digital environment, so that they interact. With discussions, joint activities and practical exercises, it is possible to stimulate problem solving and encourage group engagement and teamwork.
