The 17th of this month will see the pre-launch of the new Nissan Navara 2021 model, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Radisson Blue hotel. The official launch is scheduled for the following day (18th), at 3 p.m., and will be done virtually, through the link https://navaralaunch.nissan.co.mz.
According to the press release to which MZNews had access, the new Navara offers an improved level of safety, comfort, driving satisfaction and also continues to bring the durability, reliability and versatility for which it is known. The car is manufactured in South Africa and is built in Africa, for Africans.
"Over many decades since the first Nissan pickup truck hit the road, the Navara has continued to accompany and empower customers in many phases of their lives. Building on more than 85 years of Nissan pickup truck heritage, the new Nissan Navara represents the culmination of our years of experience in building rugged, reliable pickup trucks," reads the statement.
Nissan brings a complete range to the market, starting with a single cab with manual transmission. To "further elevate the rugged character of the pickup truck, the top of the range - PRO-4X - has been introduced. The PRO-4X offers even more impressive and fascinating styling to appeal to extreme adventure seekers who want to escape the daily routine."
According to the release, the Navara is powered by a 2.5L turbo diesel engine that has proven reliable in the driving conditions for Sub-Saharan Africa. "The drivetrain was chosen because it meets the performance, economy and durability requirements of customers in this demanding segment."
In Mozambique, Nissan is present in Maputo, Beira, Moatize, Nampula and Pemba.
