For the first time, the province of Nampula is taking part in the Lisbon Tourism Exchange (BTL) in Portugal, at an event where it is advertising its tourism potential and seeking partnerships for the recovery of the sector..

The event, which runs from yesterday (12) until the 16th, discusses the challenges facing tourism in the face of the emergence of new technologies, especially the use of artificial intelligence.

The Mozambican delegation at the Lisbon Tourism Exchange is led by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Fredson Bacar.

According to a publication on the IkweliThe provincial director of Culture and Tourism in Nampula, Jamila Bicá, took part yesterday in a panel on the role of the media in the supply of and demand for a tourist style, "where the impact of the media on promoting and attracting tourists to a given destination was debated".

"This fair is one of the biggest international showcases, where various topics related to culture and tourism are discussed. Nampula hopes to gain a lot of experience in terms of the link that must exist between culture and tourism. We want to seek out strategic partnerships for training at this fair, understanding that Nampula wants to position itself as a tourist market of national, international and world reference," she said.

For this tourist event, the province of Nampula brought promotional materials in audiovisual format and also in leaflets.
