The tourism and business visa exemption measure for entry into Mozambican territory could be extended to more countries, and the proposal is already being evaluated by the government.
The document was recently submitted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to the Executive, and is being analyzed by a multisectoral team that includes the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Industry and Commerce, among others.

The exemption from tourist and business visas for some countries is the 13th of the Economic Acceleration Package, implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and aims to boost the business environment in Portugal by attracting Foreign Direct Investment.
Currently, 29 countries benefit from the measure, namely Canada, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Israel, United States of America, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Denmark, Japan, Spain, Norway, United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, South Korea, Ivory Coast, Finland, Indonesia, Singapore, Ghana, Senegal, Germany, France, Italy, China, Portugal and Ukraine.
