Mozambique is taking part in the 19th edition of the Meetings Africa business tourism fair, which officially opens today (25) in the South African city of Sandton..

Meetings Africa is a pan-African event for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions industry.

This year, 410 exhibitors are confirmed, representing 113 small and medium-sized enterprises from 26 African countries.

Until tomorrow, these exhibitors will be interacting with more than 300 buyers from all over the world, in more than 8,000 scheduled meetings.

Mozambique is bringing ten exhibitors from the public-private sector, the hotel industry, travel agencies and tourism, as well as conference rooms to this edition.

According to a Radio MozambiqueThe organizers ensure that Meetings Africa continues to grow as a powerful platform for promoting pan-African collaboration and economic impact on the continent.

In fact, this year's edition will see the participation of exhibitors from Morocco, Madagascar, Guinea Conakry and Chad for the first time.

South Africa wants to capitalize on this edition of Meetings Africa, as it takes place in a year in which the country is hosting the G20 summit, the forum for international economic cooperation.
