Moçambique acelera preparativos para a Expo Mundial no Japão

Mozambique is speeding up preparations for its participation in the world exhibition, called EXPO-2025, to be held from April 13 to October 13 in Osaka, Japan.

The Mozambican delegation intends to showcase its potential in sectors such as mineral resources, energy, fishing, agriculture, tourism, culture and social projects, as well as exposing its image to the world and establishing partnerships that can bring benefits to the national economy.

EXPO-2025" will be held under the slogan: "Designing the Society of the Future for Our Lives", and Mozambique has adopted the theme "Education and Work using Artificial Intelligence and Robotics", under the sub-theme "Empowering Lives".

Quoted in a News, Mozambique's Commissioner General for EXPO-2025, said that with the choice of this theme, the country is seeking to stimulate the use of artificial intelligence and robotics in the context of sustainable development, with a focus on education and work "and, with this approach, to project the country towards this type of solution in the period following the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals-2030".

EXPO 2025 is organized by the Government of Japan through the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition. The event was created by the International Exhibition Bureau (BIE), which also oversees it. This type of event takes place every five years and in a different country each season.
