Best courses for the "rest of the centuries" according to the world's richest man

The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, is world-renowned for his investments and developments in the technology and artificial intelligence sector. But despite being an advocate of his field, he recognizes that its progress can cause millions of jobs to disappear worldwide.

During the Artificial Intelligence World Conference in Shanghai, the CEO of Tesla and Space X said that "artificial intelligence will make jobs meaningless."

The World Economic Forum has predicted that 75 million jobs will be displaced by 2022. And currently the debate is about how technology will impact regular jobs around the world.

Considering this perspective, Musk pointed out some specializations where he believes the human factor remains important in the world of work.

According to Musk, the people who will be "outside" the eminent danger zone of employment are those who can program artificial intelligence software, and he recommended that young people study computer engineering.

Still, such positions may not be that common. "Eventually, AI will just write its own software," he said.

However, Elon Musk said that companies focused on human interaction will continue to thrive, even in a jobs landscape that changes at lightning speed.

"People basically like to interact with other people. If you work on something that involves people or engineering, it's probably a good approach," he said, citing "art" as another component where AI has little to do.

So all those positions where the human-human relationship has an intrinsic value beyond the economic one will continue to be relevant in the vision of Tesla's CEO.
