The 25-year-old French forward, Kylian Mbappé, made Champions League top scorer history by scoring twice in Tuesday's game against Barcelona.
With this feat, the Prais Saint German player equaled the total goalscoring record of Andriy Shevchenko and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in European soccer's biggest competition.
The Frenchman, who has already been tipped to join Real Madrid next season at no cost, has now scored 48 goals in the Champions League.
Mbappé also reached 15 away goals in the competition, surpassing his compatriot Karim Benzema (14). Just ahead of him is the inevitable Cristiano Ronaldo, the Champions League's all-time top scorer with 23.
