"Culture in all its dimensions" program launched

Lançado programa “Cultura em toda sua dimensão’’

The radio program "Cultura em toda sua dimensão" (Culture in all its dimensions) by Rádio Moçambique (RM) was launched on Wednesday (7) at the BCI auditorium in Maputo, at an event attended by RM professionals, members of the artistic community, BCI employees and guests.

This is yet another project in which Rádio Moçambique, as a public radio broadcasting service, has an increased role in promoting culture, counting on the partnership of BCI, which also has culture as one of its pillars in terms of corporate social responsibility.

It is in this context that RM's production manager, Arão Cuambe, thanked the BCI for its support. In general, he spoke of the support that enables cultural events, festivals and exhibitions to be held, as well as the production of quality artistic works. He highlighted the need for the bank to provide incentives for companies and individuals who invest in culture, including tax breaks for entities that sponsor cultural events and support programs for cultural entrepreneurship.

The BCI's Director of Public Relations, Heisler Castelo David, congratulated Rádio Moçambique on yet another project that adds value to culture, and reaffirmed that "the BCI will continue to take an active role in valuing Mozambican culture and defending an increasingly rich and strong identity".

The launch event also shared memories of the children of some of the pioneers of post-independence national music, and testimonies from personalities who spoke about the role of women in the creative process.
