Zambézia Government conducts topographical survey for electricity grid expansion

The topographical survey for the expansion of the national electricity grid for the Administrative Post of Naburi, in the District of Pebane in Zambézia, has been underway since this month.

The initiative is part of the National Program of Energy for All, launched by the President of the Republic in December last year.

The administrator of the district of Pebane, Eduardo Vida, who advanced the information on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the village of Pebane that are marked this Tuesday, said that by the end of 2022 that station will be connected to the national grid electricity.

There are more than fifty-eight thousand inhabitants of the administrative post of Naburi who will gradually benefit from the energy of cahora bassa.

Meanwhile, the expansion of electric energy to the villages of Malema, Mucocoro, Namanla and the village of Cutal in the Administrative Post of Mulela, started last year, may be concluded in December of this year.

In that administrative post live more than seventy thousand inhabitants.
