The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, wants to see an improvement in the business environment in the country, inviting the business sector and cooperation partners to contribute to increase and improve the performance of the national economy.

The statesman was speaking this Wednesday during the official opening of the XVII Annual Conference of the Private Sector (CASP), the largest event for national businessmen, organized by the Confederation of Business Associations of Mozambique (CTA).

"Let's improve more, let's complain, let's suggest, but let's bring goals so we can solve our problems, because it's our country, you have to solve the problems together with your government," Nysui challenged, quoted by the newspaper Notícias.

The Head of State also urged the economic operators to make CASP a showcase for Mozambique's visibility regionally and internationally "as a productive and commercial geostrategic block and platform".

Nyusi will also lead a debate, followed by the signing of a memorandum between the private sector and the Government for the implementation of the Private Sector Recovery Plan.
