Around 1,400 national companies have already registered to take part in the 59th edition of the Maputo International Trade Fair - FACIM 2024, which will take place from August 26 to September 1.
Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, through the Agency for the Promotion of Investment and Exports (APIEX), the event will take place at the Ricatla International Fairs and Exhibitions Centre, located in the district of Marracuene, Maputo province, under the slogan Industrialization: Innovation and Diversification of the National Economy.
Speaking today, Monday (19), at the launch ceremony, the director of the Fair, Octávio Zefanias, expressed the belief that "the number will rise because there are no reliable records on the number of companies that could make up the provincial delegations".
Around 17,000 national and foreign exhibitors are expected at the 59th edition, of which 350 will represent Maputo province in various areas, showcasing their products and potential at the country's largest business showcase.
The fair is a platform for exchange and cooperation and will have a range of activities including exhibitions, seminars, promotion sessions and contact exchanges.
