Facebook remove página oficial de Venâncio Mondlane, deputado da Renamo

Today, Facebook removed the official page of Venâncio Mondlane, a member of the Mozambican National Resistance (RENAMO), the largest opposition party in Mozambique.

In recent times, the MP has made social interventions using digital platforms. According to the  Moz MassokoOn his Facebook page alone, Venâncio Mondlane had more than 130,000 followers.

"Venâncio Mondlane's official page was severely attacked this morning and is no longer visible on Facebook. This is a sign that our struggle is legitimate, accurate and bearing fruit. So we're going to intensify sharing via alternative channels, especially WhatsApp," said the RENAMO MP.

In another development, Venâncio denounced the Mozambican government for political persecution.

"Once again, we are accused of preparing a coup d'état.

What a privilege!!!!.....we have been elevated to a supreme category! Two coups d'état without an army, without weapons, without a military, can only be the product of a miracle!" said Mondlane.

It should be remembered that Facebook also recently removed the TV Sucesso page.
