Two people died following a plane crash in Kenya involving a training aircraft and a passenger plane.
According to News to the MinuteThe two devices collided over Nairobi National Park, causing the smaller device to fall.
The larger plane, a Dash 8 operated by Safarilink Aviation with 44 people on board, was heading for the coastal resort town of Diani when the crew noticed a loud bang shortly after take-off from Wilson airport and decided to turn back, the airline said on Tuesday (5).
"I can confirm that a student and a coach [who were on the plane] have died," the Nairobi police said, quoted by Sky News.
The plane belonging to a flight school and the Safarilink passenger plane collided at 10.05am local time, the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority said in a statement.
