The Black Bulls beat Matchedje (4-1) in their opening match of the Mozambola-2023 National Football Championship. The "bulls" started the game better and opened the scoring after just 2 minutes through Melque.

The "militares" responded in the 13th minute with a set-piece where Macamito made it 1-1.
