ADB has already invested about 600 million dollars in projects in Mozambique

The African Development Bank (ADB) has invested about 600 million dollars in Mozambique in the last four years in agriculture, transport and rural electrification projects.

The information was advanced this last week in Inhambane, by the ADB's Resident Representative in Mozambique.

Pietro Toigo, says that Mozambique, with its energy potential, is his institution's priority for several investments, hence he will participate in the construction of the Temane Thermal Power Plant and the energy transport line to Maputo.

The ADB representative says that to make the economy resilient to shocks, it is urgent to mobilize funds for building infrastructure and training human capital.
