Maputo International Airport received the second largest aircraft in the world, with capacity for 400 passengers, on Saturday (09).
According to the Operations Director of the Aeroportos de Moçambique company, this milestone demonstrates the capacity of the country's airports, which are seeing an increase in air traffic.
Cited by Radio MozambiqueJosé Candrino added that an operation of this scale opens up room for economic gains at different levels.
The aircraft, an Airbus A35K 350-1000, arrived in Maputo with 347 passengers and 19 crew members on board.
