The Municipal Council of Marracuene, in Maputo province, has ordered the calibration of fuel pumps to avoid anomalies in sales to consumers.
According to a Radio MozambiqueA team made up of technicians from the municipality and the National Institute for Standardization and Quality identified some imbalances at three petrol stations in the municipal town.
After discovering the anomalies, the Councillor for Economic Activities, Transport, Communication and Traffic, Maghivelani Simão, ordered them to be corrected.
The process of checking liquid fuel pumps and hoses in the Municipality of Marracuene began about two weeks ago and should cover all the pumps located in the municipal area.
