Agência do Vale do Zambeze lança projecto de internacionalização da economia moçambicana

The Zambezi Valley Development Agency and the Mozambican High Commission in Malawi are launching a project for the internationalization of the Mozambican economy in the village of Ulónguè, in the Angónia district of Tete.

This is an initiative that aims to fulfill the challenge launched by the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, which is based on promoting economic diplomacy, the way to attract more foreign direct investment.

According to a Radio MozambiqueThe project has two main strands: promoting the country's image in foreign markets, especially Malawi, and strengthening bilateral and multilateral trade through foreign economic and trade policies.

The Zambezi Agency is taking part in this project as an essential part of the internationalization of the Mozambican economy, by advertising the local product abroad.

The Mozambican High Commission in Malawi, on the other hand, is exclusively fulfilling its role of implementing economic diplomacy and working with the competent bodies to eliminate economic barriers.

"The project will also be a platform to support the competitiveness of national economies in foreign markets," reads the same publication.
