The National Criminal Investigation Service (SERNIC) recently arrested a 38-year-old Mozambican national, identified as A. Muarabo, in possession of 80 kilograms of "heavy" drugs, at the Murebue administrative post, in Mecufi, Cabo Delgado.

He was presented to the press today, and according to Notícias, he was found in flagrante carrying 42 kilograms of cocaine, 34 kilograms of amphetamines and four kilograms of heroin in his Ford Ranger.

The accused told journalists that he was unaware of the contents of the goods he was carrying.
