The Energy Regulatory Authority (ARENE) announced yesterday the downward adjustment of the price of cooking gas (LPG), which from today, Friday, will cost 90.1 meticais per kilogram, compared to the previous price of 95.04.

ARENE has decided to maintain the prices of gasoline, diesel, lighting oil and vehicular natural gas (CNG), it said in a statement.

"The adjustment to the price of LPG cooking gas was influenced by the reduction in its base price (CIF), which allows the adjustment to be made," the statement reads.
