The Energy Regulatory Authority (ARENE) announced yesterday the downward adjustment of the price of cooking gas (LPG), which as of today, Friday, will cost 90.1 meticais per kilogram, against the previous price of 95.04.

ARENE has decided to maintain the prices of gasoline, diesel, lamp oil, and vehicular natural gas (CNG), it said in a statement.

The adjustment in the price of LPG was influenced by the reduction in its base price (CIF), which allows the adjustment to be made," reads the statement.
