The Council of Ministers approved this Thursday an extension of the Portuguese Fund to Support Investment in Mozambique, to be available until 2025.
"With this measure, the Government strengthens cooperation with Mozambique and contributes to the diversification of funding sources for Portuguese companies and a greater involvement of the private sector in Portuguese cooperation," reads the statement sent to the press.
The Fund, created in 2010, "aims to promote support for investment in Mozambique by Portuguese or Portuguese-Mozambican companies, as part of the Portuguese development cooperation policy, with a special focus on cooperation with Portuguese-speaking African countries," the text also adds.
