The third phase of peaceful marches promoted by the independent candidate for President of the Republic, Venâncio Mondlane, will last eight days, starting on October 31 until November 7.

"I'm here to announce, for all of you, the march to Maputo, or on Maputo, which will begin on Thursday, October 31st, and will culminate, with the final victory, on November 7th," he announced.

The idea is to paralyze the entire country, with street demonstrations, until the proclamation on November 7 "of the liberation of Mozambique from the black settler".

The slogan of this third phase is "General demonstration against the murder of the Mozambican people".

He explained that the people are murdered in different ways, through kidnappings, abductions, assassinations, poverty, corruption, shootings, arbitrariness and the theft of votes. "All this is the package of murder".

Mondlane said today that the march no longer belongs to him or the Podemos party, "it belongs to all Mozambicans", and he has therefore invited all the other political parties that have already expressed their intention to take part in the demands.

For the candidate supported by the Podemos party, this is the country's chance to free itself from the Frelimo regime that has ruled for almost half a century. "This country is in an abyss. We deserve a much better future than this".
