The payment systems of some of the main banks operating in the country were unavailable on Wednesday morning, due to the vandalization of one of the communication points between Sociedade Interbancária de Moçambique (SIMO) and the respective banks.
The problem was caused by the post-election demonstrations that have been taking place in the country.
The information was provided by SIMO's executive director, Sariel Nhambide, who assured that the problem had already been solved, although she did not provide any details. (Text: Notícias)
