More than 14,400 state employees and agents have been included in the Single Salary Table (TSU) in Maputo city, which corresponds to 95.8 percent of the professionals being integrated.

The integration of the remaining 629 could be completed once the migration mechanisms of the public administration's human resources registration and management system have been improved.

The Secretary of State in Maputo City, Vicente Joaquim, pointed to the migration of e-CAF, the previous employee registration platform, to the National System for the Management of State Human Resources (SNGRHE) as a barrier to reaching the more than 15,000 technicians.

Speaking on Civil Service Day (Friday 23rd), he said that the state administration must adapt to the new reality based on international cooperativism, through which trained employees can contribute to the success of the African continent's economy.

Benildo Muiene, a technician from the Water and Sanitation Infrastructure Administration, said that it was the duty of professionals in state institutions to meet deadlines in order to guarantee their rights after carrying out their activities. (News)
