The Single Wage Table (TSU), in the Public Service, will come into force as of next July. The guarantee was given yesterday in Maputo by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Max Tonela, on the sidelines of the opening of the VIII Conference and Exhibition on Mining, Oil & Gas and Energy of Mozambique, an event that ends today.
According to the minister, who was speaking to journalists, the implementation of the TSU will be based on the observance of the criteria established in the respective law, namely age, level of education, length of service, and career time, which will result in a historic increase in the minimum wages applicable in the Civil Service.
"The State Budget (OE) approved for this year contemplates costs for the implementation of this measure, so the State will be in a position to comply with what is foreseen," he said.
