Standard Bank launches credit line of up to 2 million meticais for civil servants

Standard Bank lança linha de crédito de até 2 milhões de meticais para funcionários públicos

Standard Bank has announced the launch of Crédito funcionário público, its new credit line aimed at improving the well-being of civil servants in Mozambique. According to the bank, this exclusive offer provides civil servants with a fixed and competitive interest rate, along with unique benefits.

"One of the main advantages of the civil servant credit is the possibility of access to credit even for those who do not have an account with Standard Bank. In addition, beneficiaries will be able to enjoy a flexible payment period of up to 72 months and a financing amount varying between 15,000 and 2,000,000 meticais," reads a publication from Standard Bank. Savannah newspaperHe added that civil servants who have loans with other financial institutions have the opportunity to transfer them to Standard Bank in order to take advantage of the benefits offered by this line of credit.

Meanwhile, as part of the civil servant loan, Standard Bank will be promoting financial education sessions in various state institutions. "These sessions will explain in detail all the characteristics of the credit, providing personalized support to facilitate signing up for financing," the bank said.

According to the bank, civil servants have complete freedom to use the amount of the credit according to their needs, whether for personal projects such as home improvements, the purchase of consumer goods, including electronic equipment, or even for expenses related to education, health, among others.
