STAE allocates 15 more mobiles in Sofala due to floods

STAE aloca mais 15 mobiles em Sofala devido a enchentes

The Technical Secretariat for Electoral Administration (STAE) has reinforced Sofala province with 15 more mobiles to deal with flooding in some districts.

With ten days to go until the end of the process, Sofala province has already registered more than 70% of the expected voters and the electoral bodies are satisfied with the course of the process, despite the MDM's complaints.

The National Electoral Commission, which is overseeing the process, is calling for an intensified civic education campaign at all levels to ensure everyone's involvement, according to "O Pais".

Last week, the MDM denounced numerous irregularities in this process, in particular the exclusion of its inspectors at the registration posts. However, the CNE has said that this is not true.
