Red Bull vai desenvolver um hipercarro que vai custa 6 milhões de euros

Red Bull announced on Tuesday that it will for the first time fully produce a hypercar at its factory in Milton Keynes, UK. It will be called the RB17 - inspired by Formula 1 cars - and the Austrian team has already revealed some details about this model.

First of all, it should be said that this RB17 is the brainchild of well-known Formula 1 engineer Adrian Newey, and that it will be limited to 50 units. Designed for track driving, with two seats, the RB17 will start production in 2025.

It will be equipped with a hybrid V8 block, capable of developing more than 1,115 hp of power, and will feature one of the most advanced ground effect packages ever fitted to a series production car.

Quoted by Notícias ao Minuto, Red Bull also informed that more technical details will be revealed soon and for those interested pre-orders have already opened. The price of the RB17 will be approximately 5.8 million euros plus taxes. Whoever purchases the vehicle will be linked to Red Bull through vehicle program development, training and track and simulator experience.

The creation of RB17 will give rise to more than 100 new jobs in Milton Keynes.
